What herps are there on these islands off the cornish coast I know that common frogs are present and the leatherback turtle if found around this islands or islets are there other terrestrial herp species to be found there?

I've been going mad tryna find 1 or 2 of my books that might've been able to help on this, but i just can't damn well find 'em...Grrrrrrrr!  Anyway, i could be wrong but i'm fairly sure i at least once read somewhere that Smooth newts are in the Scilly Isles. IF so, then i'd presume on just the larger, higher grounded islands. As i said though, i could be wrong. So, nothing anywhere on the net then? Hmmmmmmm...

Apart from Common Frogs - springwatch 2005 were there looking at spawn in December or February

you could also try:

Environmental Records Centre for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

Henry Arnold's atlas shows early (pre 1970?) records for common toad, common frog, palmate newt. Presumably all these are available via NBN as Vicar said.

Oh well, there might be Palmate's there then,...even better! Surprised there isn't apparently any snakes or lizards there though,..unless there are.
